HXC SD interface and Extra Density (ED) floppy images

Hello,

Wondering if anyone has succeeded in getting a readable/writeable ED image onto an SD card that can be accessed via the HXC floppy emulator. I've used the physical specs for the QL ED format to create an empty HFE file, have tried loading a raw image of a QL ED disk into the HFE, have tried using QFormat on the HFE... no joy with all.

There appear to be a couple of issues with this - one is the transfer rate which is not supported by the HxC and the other is that we could not work out how the (Super) Gold Card detects an ED disk ....
