Sandy SuperQboard schematic

Post by Nasta »

I seem to remember seeing the schematic for the Sandy SQB somewhere, and also that Marcel Kilgus had something to do with fixing bugs in hardware and/or software, but I can't find any trace of it now.
Google returns hits in the QL users archive but will not access it due to the server returning a bad certificate :|
Das anyone have the schematic or any other data about this piece of hardware?

Google says it's here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/QLhardware/

It's a closed user group - if anyone has access, he should be able to search there - I haven't.

Tobias

It helps that I'm the group owner :P
The brain is not what it used to be obviously, I completely forgot about that.
Does anyone know any other details such as GAL code and ROM contents (did it use the original Sandy ROM?). A quick look shows that the mouse interface is not exactly the same as QIMI, and from the connections to the GAL and decoding in general it's not in the same (fixed) address....

I requested to join the group a few years ago, and yesterday - never got a response.

I'm not sure if these are the same schematics (on my website) - they are from Marcel IIRC, standard and HD disk modified SuperQBoards he built???

http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/hardware/index.html
scroll down to section 'SuperQBoard Modifications'

or direct from http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/hardware/ql-flp.png and http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/hardware/ql-flp-hd.png

I can't vouch for the second one, but the first one matches the v3 SQB, with two minor changes.

I repeat my request for WD1772s at a sensible price ;)

What would those minor changes be?
