However, no matter what I do, at best I get the screen flashing and then nothing. I've tried in Firefox, Safari and Brave, all the same.
Has anyone else managed to download these docs?
PS - I tried the direct PDF direct link and also the File->Download->PDF (and Word for that matter)
Takes absolutely ages before they start downloading, then they get to 99% and wait there for ages again. Got there in the end, assuming these are what you wanted!
These delays and refusal to download can also be down to any Anti Virus type software you may be running - I sometimes have to tweak the settings to allow some sites - and also some older documentation is on websites who's certificates may have expired - meaning it would block the download by default on Edge for instance - but you can manually overide at your own risk - If I do this, I tend to download the file then scan it before attempting to open it.

I don't normally get delays like this when downloading files - this one was quite extreme and exceptional.
My AV is the inbuilt Windows one. Maybe my system isn't quite set to the extreme level of security of Sparrowhawk's?
Same as Dilwyn, no AV on here (other than Apple's built in anti-malware thingy)
I also tried on my Linux laptop and had the same issue. (No AV. Latest Firefox)
I'll dig out the Windows laptop and try there just to see whether it's an OS thing.
Incidentally, it's just that one site, anywhere else is fine.
I'd say browser plugins but I deliberately have no plugins on Brave as that I use for client work so want a vanilla as possible Chroumium-based browser.
Anyway, thanks again Dilwyn - added them to my growing technical library on my reMarkable, which is the perfact size/format for reading (and annotating) PDFs.
@Dilwyn - I just opened the BBC BASIC one and it's only 2 pages long - I'll try on my Windows laptop tomorrow, see if I can get it downloaded that way.
