Cause I want to try to install EJC, I have started QPCII with QL colors and tried to read the README files of EJC. They are loaded, but they seem all to be black on black :-(
I load S_Edit with ert hot_???? (i. e. as my default editor for viewing files), cause it's reentrant and compatible with high resolutions (Master Spy is unfortunately not, whole screen is occupied by it).
My S_Edit version is 2.26 (at least this is shown in the top line, when QPC2 is running with 16 bit colours; then the EJC README files are shown with black on grey).
BTW: EJC seems to be compatible with 16 bit graphics mode. Unfortunately I have until now not succeeded to compile even an hello world :-(

CONFIRMED: In QL mode S_Edit writes black on black (i. e. you see nothing). Just tested it with a new started QPC2, started S_Edit and typed something: Cursor moves, but nothing to see. I assume black (INK) on black (PAPER).

Re: @RalfR: Sedit seems not to work with QL colors on QPCII
S_Edit 63 just works on SMSQ/E with a bigger screen size because of a fixed window size and use of WMAN colours, for QL you have to use an older version. I have never tried the old version with QPC2.

Thanks for the link.
BTW: I succeeded in compiling my first "hello world" with EJC, albeit I'm far away to understand this very interesting compiler fully :-(
