Does anyone have a spare Metacomco C rom? I have the manual + software, but cannot find my C Rom. I did eventually find my Metacomco Pascal ROM, but since they were supposed to be together and it has been 25+ years, I'm pretty sure it's gone. The software won't run without the ROM cartridge. So, if anyone wants to unload their C development system, please let me know. Alternatively, if anyone has a working ROM, a copy would at least allow me to run the software under the emulator (assuming there are no copyright issues - I'm not sure).

I don't think I have an EPROM.
If you email me (rich AT rwapservices.co.uk) a photo of the manual or original microdrives, I can easily email you a copy of the EPROM contents...

Willem,
if it's not about personally preserving MCC C for more sentimental reasons but instead practical usage as a compiler, I'd recommend you have a look at C68, which is a far better compiler with much more support for the "modern" QL.

It is for purely sentimental reasons. I do have the much more modern C68 compiler. Back in the mid-80s I learned Pascal (for university courses) and C on the QL, so I have a lot of ancient bits and pieces of code I'd like to go over.

Suspected that.
I still keep my QL C ROM dongle somewhere myself (unfortunately empty and without the EPROM).

That's indeed the C-rom. It is the same version I got from Rich Mellor. He also sold me an actual rom, so I'm all set. Thank you both - this forum is great!
