Qubbesoft P/D sold a version of the QEP-III as well. I wonder if they were the same? If anyone here succeeds in buying the QJump version, could you compare its manual to that I have at http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/manuals/qep3qdoc.zip

Bitter, party of one! I set my alarm, hit snooze only one time, then came to the computer at 5-*something* AM, and as it came up there was another bid, and only 15 seconds left. In my not awake state, I didn't get co-ordinated enough to complete the bid process in time, and I lost it. *booo* So, I went back to bed and sulked myself to sleep like a petulant child, and I've only just woken up.

*grins*

So, if anyone out there has a QEPIII EPROM programmer they would like to part with, I am quite desperate to own or borrow one and would be very grateful for any leads. It is a relatively important part of my work.

Oh dear me - you can't use sniping software on SellMyRetro :D You should have set a higher maximum bid then you could have slept and dreamt of winning it!

At least it went to another hardware guy - Jiri Dolezal !!

I manually bid. I just wasn't awake enough to go through the whole, umm, two steps in the few seconds I realized I had available. If I'd got to the computer just 4-5 seconds earlier...

Ok, I need to focus on my busy evening. I need to buy more packing tape - that's a good sign! I would have sent you more pads, Rich, but no tape to stick them to!

Also, I need to develop these prototype PCBs. Unfortunately, it was overcast today and the UV levels were just too low and distributed. I prefer direct sunlight, so the UV comes from a single direction. Maybe tomorrow!

Oh the joys of bidding on SMR or eBay, part of the fun, part of the frustration, part of the incentive, parting with money :)

I wish SMR had a reverse auction option.

Starting price: £_____
Amount to reduce price £_____ every [day|hour|minute]
Minimum price accepted: £_____

Not only do auctions like that tend to fetch higher prices, but there's no sniping. You buy it when it's a price you are comfortable with, or it's not listed any more.

*le sigh*
