We've finally killed all problems with (Super) Gold Cards not booting. Minerva with Command History is now available at https://github.com/SinclairQL/Minerva.
This is likely to be the final version, as we've learned that you cannot mess too much with Minerva without upsetting (S)GCs
Jan (and thanks to Peter for testing, and providing QIMSI firmware with QL-SD ROM functionality)
As always in QL development, things went from one unexpected problem to the next.
I wouldn't even have started if I had known how many hours it will cost.
(S)GC are too important to be incompatible, but at the same time very restrictive.
Still I find the well-working commandline history a very important improvement for the QL.
Glad to finally get rid of the incompatibilities and instabilities with the old drivers from B. Jakubith.
The just 2.7 KB long binary even makes it ideal for unexpanded machines.
And who knows, the 48 KB QL ROM emulation from SD card might also be helpful in the future.
I had an idea how to make it work without need for hardware reset, but that would again collide with (S)GC.
