For the MGx ROMs I believe (at least it's what I have observed) only the 8000 chip has the specific local language related messages etc. The MGx chip for 0000 is the same for any MGx QL and I think they just have 'MG' written on them.

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proven excellent for mdv data recovery.

Yes, that was my undestanding, so this one might be useful (MGY is Finnish)

The FP ROM is unusual - shame the 8000 version is missing - no idea what that is !

Is the FP Greek?

I did have a Finnish QL a couple of years ago, missing original ROMs, but unfortunately I sold it.

I did wonder if the FP might be the Greek ROM (shown as Sigma FP on the QL Homepage). Might just have to get that one dumped to see!

The QDOS version in the Greek ROM is v1∑13 (shown in the code). Possibly further corrections?

Edit: My mistake: All MGX have QDOS version 1x13, so nothing else there, (Sigma included above)

If someone can remind how to save a dump of the 0000 ROM chip, I will make a copy!

Unfortunately, after changing email provider since then, I no longer have the exchange of emails with the person who supplied me with the MGY and SigmaFP (the Sigma should really be the Greek letter, but my HTML let me down). Afraid I don't remember who provided them originally.

Anything new ought to be preserved, of course.
