Very courious...I run them all, except some of the CALL programs. As long as they are well programmed to EX, they run!

Come on...do you have the Stella code? Give it to us.

So the basic answer to this thread is a SuperBasic interpreter in C so we can stick it on Zephyr or Linux or ......

I write my own programmes in SBASIC, either in QD with SBAS Thing or SBASIC interptreter, use Qliberator Turbo compilers C68 Compiler 68000 assembler with QMAC or GWASS.

I eriter Extended Environment programmes in WPTR, SBASIC or assembler. I am looking QPTR with C68.

I also write programmes in Linux BASH scripts.

I like the R language as well, but have only just started with this.

...and Android programming in Java, since uncle Norm does not like Kotlin.

No need to speculate about an OS (Stella) that probably doesn't exist. No matter, what others tell us.

Ok, it doesn't exist. That's what I have thought!

Uncle Norm doesn't like Java! ;)
He's not sure about Kotlin, the syntax seems a little weird, to my aging brain that is!

Cheers,
Norm.

I quite like Kotlin, is it okay with you programme Stella in Kotlin for my mobile phone?

The Futura cancellation was very much like Phoebe's cancellation by Acorn. It was close to finished, but represented an existential threat to the company. I remember holding a Futura PCB in my hands at the time and thinking just how..... BIG.... it was. Not just the size (a good 25x30cm at least) but the quantity, quality and cumulative cost of the parts.

Given the tiny size of the potential market and the problems Thor's maker was experiencing at the time, it was the smart decision. It was a terrible market to sell into.

The company still exists today, and has moved to more lucrative and stable markets.

We don't regret the decision for even a microsecond.

TT once wrote me that the Futura PCBs were pretty bad quality.
