USB mouse adapter
Re: USB mouse adapter
I wonder if that would work with a QIMI interface, since I think (not 100% sure) that QIMI mice are Atari mice?desin wrote:hello

Re: USB mouse adapter
Qimi do indeed use Atari mice.
I was re-visiting Qimi lately. Was there a Gerber somewhere to make some? I know that someone in Germany had done some developments and there was someone else who had made a Qimi version for a PS/2 mouse.

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proven excellent for mdv data recovery.

Re: USB mouse adapter
There was an attpt at producing a QIMI clone board with PS/2 option, there are Eagle Cad file, but no Getber files. But Gerber files can be reproduced in Eagle no problem.Chr$ wrote:Qimi do indeed use Atari mice.

I have 6 QIMI boards to repair with broken IC Pins, then was going make some more, withe the CAD files.
The clone QIMI board uses SMD components, so you will need to be able to do surface mounted soldering.

Re: USB mouse adapter
If the USB mouse is correctly converted into an Atari mouse port, it should work. It makes an Atari mouse compatible output, that is what QIMI awaits.dilwyn wrote:I wonder if that would work with a QIMI interface, since I think (not 100% sure) that QIMI mice are Atari mice?
