I don't suppose anyone has a copy of the manual for the Silicon Express QL disk interface I could borrow to scan?
I have come across a copy of the Utilities disk for this interface, but it's a bit pointless without the interface manual.

Re: Silicon Express
Unfortunately this is all I have found out regarding instructions (2011), hopefully the person who bought it may come on here and see the post.

A search here brought up this from MHedley, perhaps a pm to him? This is a Silicon Express "Insider" interface for use with Sinclair QL together with mains powered dual 5.25 inch floppy drives.
The interface card slots into the QL providing a standard 40-pin IDE floppy disk interface, so presumably can be linked up to any powered 3.5 or 5.25 inch floppy drive.
A cable and connection is provided to the dual 5.25 inch floppy drives mounted in a metal case, which has its own mains power supply.
The interface includes modified QDOS commands and comes with full instructions and installation disk (5.25 inch DS/DD disk)
This is another example of a need for subcategories on the forum.I have been a professional programmer from as far back as 1983 and own numerous retro computers but never had a QL - until now.
After a matter of mintues I realised I needed an alternative to microdrives and managed to get a Silicon Express insider disk interface with dual floppy drives and now I am happy. I have quickly grown to really like the QL a lot. I would be a whole lot happier if I could manage to find a copy of Hisoft's Devpac for the QL - something I used extensively on Atari ST and Amiga.
Anyway hello to everyone - it's nice to now be a part of the QL community.
