Best way to quit out when Microdrive loops?

I'm transferring some old microdrive carts and the odd one keeps looping, what's the best way to stop it?

Hmm depends - reset the QL and try the tape in the other drive - although pulling it out can be safer particularly if it is in mdv1_ for some reason.

I was too scared to pull the cart out while it was running but I'll try it next time. Foolishly I did a dir command on a cart than had already failed the trump format to ram.
