Does anyone have a service for my QL that will allow me to save to SD card rather than floppy drive?

Derek,
This looks ideal and I am definitely interested. It looks as if the vdrive plugs into the port on the right of the ql and the sd card in that new slot will now act as a virtual microdrive - is that correct? Please forgive my ignorance.
Lastly, I'm not sure what the vmap does. Does that go inside the QL case? What does it add to the vdrive?
I am the same chap who asked you recently about a Minerva. Have you had a chance to see if you have one I could buy? Now I am retired I finally have time for my QL
Thank you
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
The Vmap plugs into the MDV1 socket inside the QL case and MDV1 Pplugs into the Vmap and allows mapping of Vdrive microdrive virtual images and the Physical Microdrives to any microdrive number.
With regards to the Minerva MkII, this came from a number of Minerva MkII and I2C interfaces parts from Tony Firshman.
The Minerva boards have an old rechargeable battery for the I2C clock, which I will get a new battery fitted. Also the I2C cable is soldered to thd PCB, I will fit a socket on thd cable.
I just need to test the I2C bus, with an LCD I have.
I will email you in the morning.

Derek,
I am very much interested. Just checking I won't need to do any soldering when it arrives?
My wife and I will be visiting Wales between 31/7 and 5/8 but I will keep an eye on this page to see when you have worked out a cost for the two items.
Thanks again
Andrew
