Afternoon All,

does anyone have a copy of the Quanta Library DBAS file that I could have please? My copy dates from 10th October 1999 and might be a tad out of date. I'm building an article for the next installment of the Assembly Magazine and I would like to have an up to date version as I've come accross a number of foibles in the one I have. Rather than write a pile of code to correct all/some of the foibles, an up to date version might already have been fixed. I just need/would like, the "libguide_dbs" file please. Thanks.

Cheers,
Norm.

The zip file contains 2 versions:
- in directory LG01 is the one from Quanta Library
- in directory LG is the one from PDC Library (Public Domain Club)

I downloaded the official Quanta libguide from the Quanta web page supplied by Dilwyn.

I notice that there's a "dv4" version and boot file, created by someone called "Graeme Gregory" --- whoever he might be ( ;) ) --- and the boot file has a bug. The file "boot_dv4" is only allocating 11.6KB for the original "data_bin" file, it needs to be 19810 bytes.

Just in case anyone is wondering why the guide crashes!

Cheers,
Norm.

:D :D :D :D :D

I'm not sure why a separate version was needed though, I just delete "flp1_" and type "win1_quanta_" at the startup screen.

Cheers,
Norm.

At it again, huh. One thing is calling out a dumb mistake; it s quite another calling people you know nothing about, dumb! From what Ive seen, you would not be happy if someone did that to you!

Where are the "moderators" when you need them?!
