Printed Manuals

Nowadays we don't get much by way of printed manuals with our computer hardware.
Although it's obviously easier to search something like a PDF or eBook, I for one like to have paper manuals.
Nowadays you can get manuals printed from PDFs for you, with a wide choice of paper grade, binding systems, colour or black and white. I tend to prefer a spiral-bound or ring-bound manual, as it lays flat. One company that does this to order is DoxDirect https://www.doxdirect.com/
They'll do one-offs, small print runs and even large print runs from a PDF file. They can do from the huge A0 up to A6 prints. They even have a "cover designer" if you want a nice printed cover.
I heard about this on the Facebook group for The Spectrum where one user had a The Spectrum User Manual printed in colour on 160gsm paper and spiral-bound for £13.66 for a 66-page book (the standard paperback you can buy for that computer is black and white at about the same price, though there is a colour hardback which is more expensive).
They say that delivery is free on orders over 10 pounds and aim to have a 48 hour turnaround on orders.
In case anyone thinks this is an advert, I have no connection whatsoever with the company.
I might go and try this out with something like a Q68 or QIMSI manual as a one-off to see how it goes.
