I'm having a strange problem with the gold card. When I format a 1.44 disk ,the format is successful ,but after reading the QL drive says drive do to found (dual drives). The system reads and writes pre-formatted disks from the same drive. I also when format a floppy disk with the qpc with usb drive both QL drives read "garbage"

Hi,

Maybe the FLP Density is not working correctly.

You can specify the density of the floppy disk with the FLP_DENSITY command or put the density in the format disk filename.

E.g.

High Density
FLP_DENSITY "H"

or

FORMAT "FLP1_DATA*H"

D = Double Density 720K 14400 sectors
H = High Density 1440K 2880 sectors

Check the floppy drive cables and possibly clean Disk reader head in the Disk Drive.
