Hi Folks,
Have you ever wondered what a Solar System would be like in a different galaxy ?
Just Unzip, lrun and watch the animation, (or ESCape for the next sequence...).
Tested on a 64-bit QPC2 PC. Will try it on SGC and report back !
Regards, Steve.

Hi again,
Program now tested ok on SGC under smsq/e and qdos, ok but of course much slower...
NB: some planets get ejected from the star system. This is normal !
On SGC, if you get a rare 'overflow' halt, just RUN again which should clear the problem. But why the overflow ?
After 1000 loops, the animation changes parameters randomly, for a new configured sequence.
Steve.

Hi folks,
After leaving the SGC looping the program for days, no overflow error occurred again....
Originally, the overflow occurred at the start of the first run, after turning on.
Could this be related to the chips being cold ? I have seen this sort of error happen in similar situations before !
Similarly, the CRT screen is often unstable for ten minutes or so when cold, then settles down.
Just small niggles, but ok if you have a coffee before settling down to work on the QL.
By the way, the program can also handle our own solar system, with suitable values used.
Steve.
