QL microdrive diode mods

Hi all,

I've been looking around to see if I can find a decent picture of where the diode mod goes on the QL microdrive PCBs.. Does anyone have a decent picture of the diode in-situ? I can see that the negative side of the 1N4148 looks like it goes to the closest leg of R100/102 and the positive side goes between a polystyrene cap and resistor on the edge of the board?

Can anyone give me a set of clearer instructions?

Thanks for any help,

Mark.

I received these photos from Charles Ingley - and modded my microdives accordingly

I once put a Diode in the drive select, so I could use one mdv for 1 and 2.

Thanks Ralf!

By the way, the Oqtadrive can do such a mapping as well.
