Hi All,
I've just become the proud owner of the usual original (i.e. not upgraded/not QXL etc) black box style QL. It arrived yesterday but I haven't had a chance to check it works. Hopefully that's a job for this weekend.
I was a 16k Spectrum owner who upgraded (to 48k) and then went heavy on the interface expansions but I've never owned a QL before. It was something I lusted after when it was released but as I was 13 on my 50p/week pocket money I was never going to afford one. By late 1987 I could afford one but of course by then the Atari ST and Commodore Amiga were the new kids on the block and the QL had all but disppeared from mainstream markets.
So here I am, having a dabble with the QL. I've got a few questions so hopefully I'll bump into some of you guys on the forums.
