Did you know.... the INGOT had support for 8 MBytes?

The logic was written in AHDL.

I wonder why this was never implemented externally.

Are you drunk? Every SGC except the Tetroid clones have a parallel port

Edit: added original quote :-P

I'm sober (now!) But I'm confused. I realise this is a hardware thread, but how did we get from 8 Gb to parallel ports in one step?

Just wondering.

Cheers,
Norm.

In his original post he wondered why the parallel port functionality he found in the HDL code was never used. But it was only Tetroid who ommited
it in his SGC version for space reasons I guess.

Yes, I wondering too. My first thought, this is like Orwell’s “1984” - in rewriting archives. How come?
Best regards

PS. Take care.

Thanks Marcel, I see now that Dave's post has been edited. I hadn't noticed that.

Cheers,
Norm.

How come a post can be edited after another post has been put on a thread? :? Surely this can only lead to confusion and make the rest of the thread nonsense talking about something that doesn't exist. I am confused.

No idea, but two people can play this game. I added the quote to further the confusion :-P

Presumably even sharing it makes the title void ;--) - as it will no longer be a secret...
