I hope that we can get a QL emulation on this. Whilst I'm not denigrating it, all this publicity of development boards etc. is missing the concept of the Rpi, which is to just connect the necessary ancillaries and use it for program development by youngsters, not circuit design. They're already using SCRATCH I understand which is just for making things work on the screen by complex sprites; but it does get them planning things in detail, even if only a sort of film storyboard. I just want to do a bit of simple programming in SBASIC and run the small applications I have. But I need to reduce the hardware so that I can have it round me to play with when consigned to a care home.

I reckon it would be more than possible to fit one of these in a QL case and then track down a black usb mini keyboard that could be mounted on top in place of the normal keyboard 8-)

Well it finally arrived, and there is already a flurry on the QL User List so expect some postings here there and everywhere now that it gets in the hands of people. Below is a video of me opening it and some pics.

John Southern is trying to get uQLx working on RPi and has aksed for help in resolving a problem he encountered. I'm sure it won't be long now before the Raspberry becomes a blackcurrant 8-)

How is everyone getting on?

Has anyone made any progress installing a QL emulator on the Raspi yet? :?

Still trying here. No way to compile uQLx yet. I use Raspbian with the Raspberry Pi. I didn't succeed with standard Debian in the Pandora either.
