QL Joystick Adaptor

Does anyone have a QL joystick adaptor (9 pin D to BT plug) which they could lend to me please.

If you have an adaptor, please check that it is for a joystick, as the ones for the serial ports are more common (but are upside down!)

I have a little oddity here I wish to try on the QL, but unfortunately, it was made for a Samsung QL with the standard 9 pin joystick ports. ;)

Hi Rich,
If I can find it in my QL goody box in the attic I'll let you know and post it to you. Some time since I last used it, hope I can find it.

I see you have managed to find it - hopefully it will work for my purposes :)

Many thanks

There's an article on my website about how to wire up such an adaptor http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/hardware/index.html

The one I've sent Rich was made for me years ago by IIRC the late Dennis Briggs of Adman Services.

Have tried to include a picture, hope I've added this the correct way, for you to see what it looks like.

I did have a tube of the BT connectors passed to me by Quanta, but they soon sold out!

Thanks to Dilwyn, I have now had the chance to test this little bit of hardware - it is not something I ever came across, so it may have been restricted to the American market at the time....
