Does anyone know anything about the keyboard interface on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 2066827635
It seems odd that it uses the QL expansion slot, but I wonder what the small board on a fly lead is from?
The seller is also selling an expansion slot expander which he says is from their Sandy machine - never seen one before with supports for the interfaces, but a good idea. I wonder if this keyboard interface could be from the same system?

Very interesting! I know the voltage has to be modified if its for a QXT-640, so people will have to be careful and check them over before connecting them up.
Does the extra lead look like it would go back into the rom port?

That was my first thought but the lead does not look long enough (unless you did it internally).

Ah great - the seller has sent me some more photos for the QL Wiki - the small board on the lead plugs into the two membrane molex connectors!!

Hi,
I was going to bid on some of the QL items, like the Ram Expansions and CST Disk Interface.
But the seller has ended the auction.

Hi Derek,
If of any use, I have a CST RAM expander. Not sure of RAm size. It says Issue 3. Just after a reasonable offer to go to a good home. I can take a photo of the actual PCB if it helps?
I also have a Q-connect, Q-mod and Q-call stack. Never used so no idea if it might work or not.

HI Greg,
This was all solved with Hermes and Superhermes, with direct connection the QL via Ser2 or Ser3
I was only interested in the ROM version with the interface. But I see the seller has reposted the items the CST Interface is listed at a starting price of £25, too much for me.gregtaylor wrote:Hi Derek,

No thanks, I used a Q-Connect in the 1990s to run a BBS, but the RS232 interface has a bug in the software which causes buffer overun when a Hayes compatiable modem is connected.I also have a Q-connect, Q-mod and Q-call stack. Never used so no idea if it might work or not.
