Hello,
my name is P_e_t_e_r__S_u_l_z_e_r and some user here perhaps still know me from the usenet groups (I was in the German Mausnet), where I was very activ in the QL and other groups until 1998.
Last Friday I detected this forum and that QPC2 now is freeware (thank's a lot to Marcel Kilgus) and so installed QPC2 and joined this forum.
Hint for QPC2: When I first started it, it crashed. I have had to press 't' for t)raditional, then it worked. No success here for colour schemes 1 and 2.
QL forever!
Peter

Hi Peter,
The above sounds to me as if you are using the demo version of QPC2. The curgent version's details can be found at
http://kilgus.net/qpc/index.html and the download is at the end of the downloads button on the left.
Cheers,
Norm.

Never mind, I'm an idiot!
You have described the demo "hard disc" that is supplied with QPC2. Sorry.
Cheers,
Norm.

Hello Peter,
Good to see another QL & OS/2 fan here. I still occasionally do some coding using Vispro/Rexx on eComStation 1.2R - are you familiar with eCS?
Anyway, have fun with QPC2. It's a great emulator. Also worth considering is QemuLator, especially if you also use a Mac. Not free though.
Enjoy the forums: they really are very friendly and useful.

I have bought an eComStation, but it doesn't run on 64-bit architectures (e. g. AMD Sempron) :-( So I have never used it, I just used the Boot Manager, cause it is compatible with large drives (the one from Warp 4 not).

I prefer UQLX, runs great on Linux but not so good on Windows with Cygwin unfortunately.
