Its also possible to install a second sdhc adapter as sdc2_.
I need to set a jumper different then and a cable with three connectors, one for your QLROMEXT and two for the two sd card interfaces.
I need to think about a price for this.

The SPI bus that connects the QL-SD with the SD-Card carrier is a bus (obviously, hence the name... ) that can serve up to two drives. Software supports that as well. The SD daughterboard can be jumpered as drive 1 or drive 2.

Yes, works fine with two drives (tested with Paul) ! The question is, what do you do with two ?
One is more than enought ! My only idea is backup ! But that's faster on a PC.

Why use a PC???

The problem with the use of QL emulators is that any development does not get done.

There is no email, browser programmes on the QL, mainly because everyone including me uses a PC with a QL emulator, where the PC will have very good internet software.

I would like 2 SD Cards readers on a QL, to replace the Microdrive tape, I like the idea of non-moving storage, like an SD Card.

If I need access to a MIcrodrive Tape then I have a working QL on the QLAN with remote access to the microdrives.

Absolutely, there is something quite attractive about using both Microdrive slots with two SD card configurations.

Over the top it might be, but please remember guys the QL was not just a technical innovation albeit under the guise of SCS, but also an aesthetic one. Just look at the competition and then what followed.

My vote is for a second SD Card slot
