Re: Q68 Order Process
Hi
I have added you to the waiting list.
The "network mod" is a special cable made to fit into the Q68 case, which I make and fit to all new Q68 cased computers sold.
Regards,
Derek

Re: Q68 Order Process
Hi,
I have just received 30 Q68 pcbs with all the SMD components soldered onto the PCB, I solder the THT parts by hand.
I have taken steps to ensure the the FPGA fitted to the PCB is supplied by a geniue Lattice approved vendor, in this case: Mouser Electronics.
Thatbp said, I use a Q68 with the supposed problem FPGA on the last batch, with no problems. The Q68 runs all software, connects to QL emukators by QLUB ovr the QL NET, SERnet, Ethernet.
I have the following remaining work:
QL Network adpater cabling.
I2C extenstion cable and panel interface.
Power switch circuitry
SD Card software distribution.
Case and front, back panels supplied by UK engineering company. Which I am arranging finance.
I think the work maybe completed by the end of March 2025.
I am sorry for the delay in supplying the Q68, but I am only one person performing all the work, shipping and any technical suppport.
