Goliath has been sold ,
Together with his 2 siblings ( a legacy 2.5 gt turbo - 328 wheel bhp -full mod - , and a 3.6 tribeca - smooth as can be - ) .
the fleet has been reduced now to a toyota auris hybrid and a forester hybrid ( to go green

)
the little metro is still there , to make a great project for the time i retire .

Yes , and No
Keeping these special cars road-worthy is a huge investment ( which you will never get back ) .
And with a family of four , 2 of them being toddlers , makes it more difficult .
So after evaluating the runned miles in one year , the legal cost only were huge ( different laws on oldtimers overhere ) , insurance is still a year to pay for example .
Only my little metro is still there , waiting for his overhaul ( it was restored when imported , - already long ago - ) .

the line-up of cars has been expanded , but in a different way
1/10 4wd 2 speed gearbox , 1.5 cc engine
1/8 brute force , 4wd central double disc brake ,3.5 cc engine
1/5 monster truck rwd arrived in poor shape , currently beeing restored with normal size wheels ( all bearings were seized !! ) , converted to all wheel disc brakes and with a 26cc engine
all not correct or messed up modifications removed .
latest arrival , also rwd tarmac racer , needs to be verified does work fully already has 4 diskbrakes , and 29 cc engine
all on 2,4 ghz remote control by spektrum

An excellent collection there, I have a load of RC cars but none that are petrol powered. Here is a truck I did back in the summer (last year!), painted with an airbrush

looks impressive , airbrush-job is really good it is "used " now .
all on 2,4 ??
- the 2 1/5's are a youngsters dream , way too expensive when i was young .
so now i tried to get them second-hand ( well maybe 3-4-5 ?? ) and it is a lot of fun to drive them .
i am currently waiting for 1 brake line on the monster truck , and need to find stronger springs for the rear-end to keep it from sagging ( common fg problem ) .
in the state it arrived , rather un drivable because of the big wheels , so now it is on normal size marder-wheels .

No electrics fitted in the truck yet as I'm saving for a sound unit. Those FG Marders are beasts

This is how the monster hummer looks after all refurbishment ;
all ugly paint has gone 4 disc-brakes , all bearings replaced , several new parts installed .
these wheels offer a smoother ride as they are lighter and better balanced than those ugly monster things.
