I did have problems with JM Roms, JS seems to be better. But Minerva works better.
I will if a Minerva MK1 eprom boatd can be made.
Thank you Derek. That confirms my suspicions. I will order rom switcher with minerva from Vitaliy and try it.
Sometimes win1 loads perfectly and sometimes it doesnt . If I want to build a custom boot file and load it I need to get out of JM roms
Best regards

Hi!
Recently, I have received a no-name CF and I have successfully made partition with following procedure:
WIN_FORMAT 1
WIN_DISK INIT,1
WIN_DISK CREATE,1,1,Size
WIN_DRIVE 1,1,1
FORMAT WIN1_Name
The same doesn't work with either of my SanDisk CF cards. It is probably not ROM issue, since I have tried above procedure with JS, JM & Minerva. The result was always failure. I guess that simply SanDisk CF cards are not compatible. BTW, the only difference I have noticed with SunDisk is when you type: "WIN_DISK DETAILS,1" you will get:
Model Name : SanDisk SDCFH-2048
CHS Geometry : [ 3970][ 16][ 63]
Device Type : DirAccs [X] CDROM [ ]
Protocol : ATA/IDE [X] ATAPI [ ]
Media support : Removab [X] UnRemov [ ]
Packet size : 12Bytes [ ] 16Bytes [ ]
Media support should be "UnRemov" to format it with above procedure. Why SunDisk CF are recognized as "Removab", maybe someone of you may know?
Tanti saluti,
Stevan

Grazie mille Stevan
Now it’s been 3 day and Verbatim CF card is recognized ok, win1 is linked, and QL boots from card. I have reset the QL and works fine
So indeed it is a card issue. (The SanDisk)
Also there is a issue of QL Today, vol 2 , where Nasta writes about the Fat is wrong problem in Qubide. Power supplies, interference, bad cables even in floppy drives could be responsible.
Anyway I decided to move to Minerva rom and change the voltage regulator
Thank you to everybody for your help
