Missing Sinclair QL Titles

I have been in touch with Daniel Purlich who set up Pyramide, he is going to send me some more information hopefully, but alas is missing any of their software now.

He tells me that Pyramide also released a software title Quest - so that's another item added to the list at the start of this thread as missing in action!

When I get more details from Daniel, I will add them to the QL Wiki.

It is surprising just how much software was produced for the QL and must be lurking in people's cupboards somewhere!

Just a thought, Rich: since these were French titles (albeit in English, maybe also in French, I don't know), it's possible that they sold well in France - if you have any emails to people who used to be in QL Contact (the french user group), then maybe you might have more luck there?

I now have the Xpert Software files (Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger).

I think there was supposed to be a fourth module....

There is a cartridge called XUTIL which says (c) Eidersoft on this, but it seems to be a boot cartridge for the Xpert software.

Interestingly the Xpert software accounting system appears to have been written using ArchDev - the development package for Psion Archive!

I shall investigate and let you know more when I find out.

Yes, my theory about the Xpert Software accounting system was correct - it is based on ArchDev/ArchRTM (in fact, the main program IMPACCT is a renamed version of ArchRTM v2.2

I am missing the stock control module.

Nebula II has now been resurrected (thanks to the author of QL2K who had it lying around) - it is a SuperBASIC trading game, and we have tidied it up a little bit, as it did have a couple of bugs in it.

Also recently rescued is QL Stock Control by Transform, and the full Xpert Software IMPACCT accounts package, including a demo cartridge!

I have now also received a cracked version of Giga-Chrome - another bitmap graphics drawing package designed to work with the ABC Electronik Mouse.

The software is cracked by "FREDCRACK" - looks to be a Dutch man judging by the writing he puts on an introductory screen.

They are all boxed and complete let alone the other thirty or forty un boxed cartridges I have but, big but; THEY ARE ALL CURRENTLY UNTESTED and I can't test them until I can sort out 1. A keyboard membrane (or two) and the working knowledge of how to actually use them. (Though I have just downloaded the QL user manual.

Sorry Rich, I don't have any of those. Not unless FM = Football Manager, in which case I believe I may have a copy of that somewhere, but somehow I doubt that that is the program you are after.

OOOOH football manager on the speccie! It was the only time me and my dad would argue who got to use the little rubber keyed family wrecker. Poor dad couldn't wait for me to go to bed!!! haha.

There are only a few of those programs which I need for the QL software repository - I am afraid that none of them are especially rare, and will not make you a millionaire, more a case of I probably have cartridges here with the files on, but some files are corrupt.

The ones I need are:
