Hi everyone - did anyone ever get a case made for this Trump Card clone? I've finished putting my life back together now (new home, new town, new job) and I'm keen to pick up where I left off

I guess that an STL file never materialised. Anyone else still interested in this? I'd really REALLY like to protect mine, I came close over Xmas with some thick black modelling card, a scapel and some glue, but in the end I think it should still be a black plastic lump.... perfect for 3d printing!

Anyone here ever made an STL file? I'm presuming it's a case of getting dimensions, producing something in a CAD package (luckily the Trump card is a fairly simple shape) and then doing an annoying number of test runs until you have something that fits?

Hehehe! Before Xmas, Aldi or Lidi had a reasonably priced 3d printer, it looked good!

I was going do an STL file from the original Trump card cover. But got distracted by other QL projects.

I maybe get the file done soon.

I even bought a DaVinici Jr 3D printer, second hand form somone local to me. But I have not had time to use the Printer. It sits unusex in storage.

If anyone fancies making me an offer for the DaVinci Jr. Send me a PM.

I can deliver for the cost Diesel in Cheshire, Midlands.

Shipping outside UK will be very expensive.

The stepper motors inside it are probably worth more than the printer is worth whole

Agreed! Mine is still unprotected - real life has gotten in the way of sourcing a case and having smoeone print it

i found this.... its noa an trumpcard cover but it wiil fit you can put a aluminioum heat shield on 7805... or a traco its better... i cut it liile bit to go to my qdisk clone...
