There is a seller on eBay who is selling 68000 kits saying, MC68008FN CPU + 128K SRAM,128k EEPROM, ideal for designing a 68000 based Microcomputer.
I've downloaded the build document from here
https://sites.google.com/site/designyourown68000system/ and the document looks impressive albeit mainly schematics and block diagrams, all the IC lead outs seem to be there. Just looking for other thoughts, if it would gather dust or worthwhile exploring. You can see the bidding here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Design-your-o ... fresh=true
The kit consists of
MC68008FN10 PLCC52 CPU
128K SRAM DIP32
128K EEPROM W27C010 DIP32
64K EEPROM PLCC32
GAL16V8 PLD
7805 5V Regulator
All DIP/DIL/PLCC sockets
10MHz Crystal
I don't know what half of these bits are but they sound good.
What I would like to know is, is it worth getting and tinkering or does it look like a scam?
