Not quite what I meant, I have to have throat operations to remove Pollips from my Vocal Chords, so have a hoarse voice most of the time.

And I am not very photo-genic.

For this reason,I very seldom give talks or presentations. Which is a great pity as I know a lot of interesting stuff...

I feel the same way though my wife thinks I am...but I'm shy about stuff like that so one reason you only see my hands on my YouTube channel.

Here's my first video for #QLvember. I hadn't done an overview/mini-review of the QL on my channel so I thought it was fitting to start with that. Though I don't really use microdrives anymore since SD cards make things so much more convenient, I do feel a nostalgia sometimes remembering back (uhm, when they worked that is).

This time everything worked really well...and that whirring sound when you list a file...I loved hearing it in half-second increments as it chugged along...maybe because as a learned behavior we expected it to fail and so when it worked it was such a relief

I'll have a few more #QLvember videos to come throughout the month...also excited to see Noel's.

Yup, decided I didn't want to be seen in my videos...at least for now. So all you get is the magic hands. Jan Beta used to be like that...or at least I recall watching a bunch of his videos and never seeing his face. Now he shows it all the time. I need to get handsomer first :-/

Luckily Noel will show his face on his QL videos. I think part 1 of his dual-repair is coming out soon. I guess he and TJ are just the two handsome devils of the bunch
