Hi BSJR,
It´s a two way process. First do the mode conversion, then load this and RLE will be offered when doing a Save.
Thanks for letting me know how to get RLE compression with SQRview. Now that I know how to do that I have noticed that SQRview uses RLE1 for the mask/alpha channel unlike the program Dilwyn Jones used to make the Qdock sprites.
