Yes, it easy.

Are you able to do it too?

Interested in the Trump card + Qubide and GC + Qubide too ;)

Need to give to my 2 QL's an Hard Disk environment and we need also to have a GC + Qubide for test Black Phoenix QL version too ;)

Let me know, opened to test and buy it all 2 naturally.

I'm preserving QL stuff so I can be a tester with a lot of protected programs that works on my Original Trump or GC too.

Very great job!!!
I think this is the next project.

Hi ,

I also have a similar USB Blaster.

With regards to Gold Card, I have a working Gold Card, that you could borrow. Send me a PM, if you are interested.

Very nice, great achievement - big compliments for this. This prototype looks nearly finished to me.
Is it possible to add advanced, GD2 compatible, graphics to this?

I don't know if 768K would be enough for GD2 graphics, but don't think you could add them easily via the expansion port - you would need an Aurora motherboard....

Easy answer: A 1024 x 512 pixel display in 16k colours like what for example the Q40 has is going to need a sloppy 1.5 MB of video memory - Twice of what the Trump card can provide. High colour, hi-res GD2 graphics simply won't work in the address space of a 68008.

Beyond that, the poor 68008 might run into some severe performance problems shoving that many screen bytes around.

Even if you'd go back to palletized colour (256 colours) like the Aurora, you still need 512KB, which wouldn't leave a lot for programs.

256 colors and 512x256 resolution cost you 256kBytes, and the 8-bit colour mode is even simpler (faster) to handle than the QL native colours. That could just barely work.
