The insertion lifecycle is quite generous. 400 is the minimum time for any wear to occur just to wear through the thinnest gold plating on one pin. These still work well within spec if all the gold is worn off.

Hopefully not a problem!

Just for comparison: a modern Micro-USB plug is specified at 10.000 mating cycles. That's generous ;)

Number of QL connectors I've broken in ~10,000 insertion cycles: 1.

Number of USB cables I have had to throw away because they broke: 25 or so.

IPhone cables and the mini or micro USB connectors/cables are even worse... :evil:
