Hi all, I am new into QL (ya, year ago and now again) and as I somehow fell in love with QL software, mostly SMSQ/E I am searching for good docs about the high level big picture overview how entire QL system works and apart from Jan Jones SB bible, one thing that is almost everywhere a must is that "TK2" so QL Toolkit - I know there is PDF manual but its classicaly in US book layout but with very tiny font and without much formatting for readability, mostly on mobile phones/tablets (tablets are better but still, plain exports into PDF without some love aren't the best) ... so I probably 10yrs ago tried to define some format for this I call "mpdf". To note, this ebook does NOT comply with page size, this is just "Legal" page (mpdf "standard" is careful choice between todays mobiles and more traditional ipad screen, it is just higher than Legal to use most of mobile screen but also be effective on ipad - Legal will be even better on ipad), I was lazy to open proper template, ...or in fact, I didn't expected I will manually go through entire TK2 manual to try its reformat (2 digit # of hours), how it will be looking into my own best "mpdf" style. Crucial are almost no margins, bigger fonts, inverted(!!) "bar" headings (ya, MUST, I cant understand why this is not used more, maybe only japanese manuals use this, those large one-pagers to be able to orient in the text ... but is GOOD even for ebooks, and sliding experience on mobile, even by page by page reading - you see big picture structure first...) ... plus I then compared the text carefully to original and provided back the formatting and added little bit more to it, while editing this manually in the MS Word - this was my initial way, which I sometimes still use on some precious material - and TK2 manual IS IT )) its not final, but maybe 97% done.
I even now don't remember if TK2 is described in Jan Jones book, I read it year ago to some extent, then going hands down ... but peeking into it it seems it describes LOT of begginers struggles with QL and emulators, or even new hardware, where BASICs of QDOS, programs, jobs, pipes are good start to know usefull things...
Lets try it open in mobile, probably best is to open with Kindle app, bet even embedded android viewer is okay (doesn't have pages though).
Petr
PS: for automated generation of such mpdf is probably best the "asciidoc" text (better markdown) with asciidoctor.js chrome extension with modified styling, but this extension will be soon "deprecated"?? cant believe ...

Re: QL Toolkit TK2 manual reformated as "mpdf"
... look at the Documentation section of QL Help Page ( link in Quick Links above). There is Toolkit 2 manual in different formats.
