The new PCBs are at last ready to ship but probably missed today's batch. So, very little chance of them arriving by the weekend.

Looks like the new PCBs will be arriving today after all as they're out for delivery. They arrived at Heathrow from China at ~6am this morning.
So, I will probably have time to test one either tomorrow evening or Sunday.

I know it's just the photo, but it looks like someone has gone to a lot of trouble, to fill in all the through holes with solder!
Nice board.
Cheers,
Norm.

Why do they put lightning conductors on churches?

I notice that I missed moving one chip designation from the fab layer to the front silkscreen... It's only a 74LS06 anyway.

Hehe. Yeah, that's caused by the table being white melamine and showing through the holes.NormanDunbar wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2024 3:20 pm I know it's just the photo, but it looks like someone has gone to a lot of trouble, to fill in all the through holes with solder!

The old and new boards side by side:
I fitted the connector just to check that I'd got at least the VCC and GND correct on the interface. I'm a bit paranoid about that.

Hi
Great looks PCB, I have not got a OPD, and the prices on Ebay and silly, so I would have to make a OPD.
I there a OPD service manual or schematic?

Thanks... but I have that on CDROM and it has every other page missing in parts and whole sections missing in others.
