Hi Rich,
Just a quick note to say thanks for returning it so quickly and via registered post.
It's all safe and sound.
Cheers
Andrew

Hi Rich,
I sent it out 1st Class Registered post today. I've also included a stamped addressed envelope for it's return once you've finished with it.

Re: Pascal Dongle (offered up for preservation purposes)
I have preserved the Metacomco pascal microdrive cartridges, although I do need an image of the ROM cartridge please - maybe you could post it up to me and I will back it up :)

Re: Pascal Dongle
OK, I've tested the QL and I'm very happy to say that it works fine.
The Pascal dongle also works OK (doesn't report "Bad ROM" or stop the QL from booting) and the "ROM" command reports that it is Pascal version 1.8.
Are there enough of these things floating around that nobody needs to make a copy ...

These ones?

I saw them and it was from there that I started looking for disk controllers.
It's not you selling them is it?

Re: Minerva MKI ROM
No, I have no upgrades at all so far.
I've seen a Super Gold Card on SellMyRetro but it's a little out of my price range.
I'm guessing that the availability of memory and disk expansion cards it limited to old hardware that pops up? There's nothing new being developed is there?

Minerva MKI ROM
Dear All,
My QL apparently has a "JS" ROM fitted. I was considering an upgrade to the Minerva MK I ROM from www.sellmyretro.com in order to make the QL more stable, faster etc
However, as I have a 128K QL is there any point in upgrading to Minerva? Will it reduce the amount of available RAM I ...

Hello from Surrey
Hi All,
I've just become the proud owner of the usual original (i.e. not upgraded/not QXL etc) black box style QL. It arrived yesterday but I haven't had a chance to check it works. Hopefully that's a job for this weekend.
I was a 16k Spectrum owner who upgraded (to 48k) and then went heavy on the ...
