Could you expand a bit on that? I'm probably wrong, but I didn't think that the messages were transmitted quite the same as an email is. It was direct from OPD to OPD with only the phone system ( no servers etc ) in between. I was 'messaging' long before I could had a modem and could get on to ...

For those with the 2 capsule set, the manual. I had to zip up the .pdf as it was too large for the forum.

A bit redundant now with the coming of Full Fibre Broadband. I don't know if there are any clever people out there who can get the OPD to work on the fibre but you never know.
Any way this is the Messaging manual.

The OPD runs the Psion Suite from ROM. Xchange occupies 5 x 32k Roms but includes some of the O/s. The OPD calculator is there somewhere. I don't know how different the OPD versions are or how they are distributed around the ROMs. I've never tried to take out individual ROMS to see what happens ...

My QL/QEP3 setup is rather cranky. I built up a library of images earlier in the year and borrowed a PC based programmer to get them all on to the PC. That had to be returned to Germany and it was delayed in Customs there for ages and was thought lost so I don't think I'll be doing it again.
