On the QL, there can be 'harm' from using a faster chip.

Is there a person who...

A) has spare time? (most important)
B) wants to build the QL-SD and learn the software/hardware issues?
C) owns a QL and is willing to use it for testing the QL-SD?
D) can solder TQFP and components with similarly small pads?
E) can deal with ROM binaries and has equipment ...

So, what is going on here?

This is part of the QubIDE schematics. Just connect a 512KByte SRAM chip to the bus and the 16V8 GAL code is here:

It works, I did that in my QL and it is working ...

I built one using a 512K SRAM chip and a PAL...Now where I found this design? I'll look for it and post here
